| VATSALYA home is
bringing up 65 boys and 15 girls of
different age groups at present.There is
a plan to rise the number of inmates in
the near future to 150. |
| Infrastructure |
| VATSALYA is housed
in its own building measuring 1600sq feet
which includes a dormitory for boys, a
dormitory for girls and female staff., an
office room, a store room and a kitchen.
Aschool Bharatiya Vidya Vikas High School
belongs to JANAHITA is attached to
VATSALYAwhere the students of local
public and VATSALYA inmates jointly

Routine |
| At VATSALYA, the
day starts in the early hours at
4.30AM.Children practice yoga for a while
and karate for half an hour. They visit
Sri Prasannanjaneya temple situated very
adjacent to the school and enchant
Ramaraksha stotram, Hanuman chalisa etc,.
They perform meditation for five minutes
and complete breakfast before leaving to
school. |

| Children of
VATSALYA are provided an unique chance to
to mingle with main stream children and
to avoid isolation in the society by
means of co-education at the campus
school. The school runs from 9.15AM to
4.10PM with lunch break at 12.40 noon.
After the school hours they will be
provided snacks /fruits. Children play
games, do gardening. They have a study
hour from 6.30PM to 8,30 PM under the
supervision and assistance of three
teachers.They retire to sleep by offering
prayers to GOD. |
