| VATSALYA is one of the projects of
JANAHITA, a social welfare organization which is
executing various kinds of projects. VATSALYA
project is mainly aimed at providing CARE, LOVE,
and CONCERN for DESTITUTE CHILDREN. The destitute
children can be found in many places in our
society. But little attention is paid towards
them by the society in general. JANAHITA team
decided to launch a project for them in the year
1991. Thus VATSALYA project came in to existance
on 26 th January, 1992 commemorating the 42nd
REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA. Inorder to
run an organization of this kind needs support, a
spirit and also the help of generous donors. Many
came forward and donated generously for the
implementation of the project. The VATSALYA
project i.e. the welfare home for the destitute
children was named after the first and main donor
Sri Gorantla Ramalingaiah, a noted industrialist,
founder of BLISS group (Chennai) and a noble
philonthropist.
